My Approach

My overall approach to wedding photography is natural and mainly documentary style, ensuring I'm close to the action keeping my senses alert for those spontaneous heartfelt moments that are a key aspect of documentary style wedding photography. It's about creating that space for you to spend time with your guests and celebrating your wedding day with them, after all you invited them to your wedding so clearly they are important to you.

 

I just use natural light for the whole day right up until the dance floor. Being a     photographer and firing a flash all day would not be very candid would it? It also helps keep the mood of the venue that is set so you can both look at your photos and see it the way it was created.

 

Yes there are a few photographic standards, the wonderful confetti line and a few classic portraits of you both, It’s not my style to take you away from your guests for photographs in a endless different locations. But if you would like me to incorporate more then please let me know, its always a yes as our relationship needs to be on the same page so we are working together in advance of your wedding day.

 

For me, those unscripted moments during any wedding day create a sense of occasion, that is unique and it's what separates one wedding from another, because no two weddings are ever the same.
